Twelve - Twenty Four

For the past several years the Norwich Fire Fighters Association has sponsored a Holiday Concert featuring the musical talents of an amazing band named Twelve - Twenty Four. It is an amazing show around the Christmas Holiday Season that you don’t want to miss. Fire Department Annual

Open House

Every year the City of Norwich Fire Department holds an annual Open House during Fire Prevention Week in October. The Norwich Fire Fighters Association takes part in this event and looks forward to meeting the public they serve every day.

Chicken Barbeque’s

Remember the days of old when you would wake up on a Saturday of Sunday morning step outside to get the morning paper and all you could smell Fire Department barbecue chicken. Well the Norwich Fire Fighters Association is hoping to bring back those smells this year by bringing back the NFD chicken barbecue’s. So check back here and we will have a list of dates in the future for chicken barbecue’s.

Gus Macker

The Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball tournament has been coming to the City of Norwich for over a decade. The Norwich Fire Fighters Association members provide emergency medical services during the tournament. It’s a fun event for all who attend and participate everyone should make it an annual event.

Chenango County Fair

The Chenango County Agricultural Society, Inc. of Norwich, New York is very proud to sponsor the Chenango County Fairgrounds which is host to the CHENANGO COUNTY FAIR and a variety of events during the year. Come bring the family and experience the excitement that a true COUNTRY FAIR has to offer. Each day has featured entertainment in front of the grandstand. With many other daily events going on during the day and evening.

Relay for Life

This year the Norwich Fire Fighters Association is going to have a team at the Relay for Life event in Norwich, NY. We will be raising money along with donating the proceeds from our cancer awareness t-shirts we sold in October. These shirts are available on our site our you can stop by the Fire Station and pick on up. We have mens medium, large and xx- large for $20.00.

Events

Each year the Norwich Fire Fighters either sponsor or take part in local events in the greater Norwich area. These events consist of an annual Christmas Concert featuring Twelve - Twenty Four, Fire Prevention open house and look for us to bring back Chicken Barbeque’s this year. I am sure you remember Fire Department chicken and can’t wait to pleasure your pallet like you did in the past. We also provide Emergency Medical Services during the annual Gus Maker Basketball Tournament and Chenango County Fair.
